Once again Onam Season around the corners! As usual Malayalees across the globe in a ‘ThiruOna Celebration” mood to memorize the golden past exclusively inherited by our culture of civilized harmony. The yellow ‘Onapakkikal’ butterflies, the southern gentle breeze after the monsoon, the kites flying and the children’s screaming of excitements, the cleaning and decorations of the surroundings, the ‘Athapookalam’ and everything brings the joyful spirit of celebration experienced in of home land transformed to the minimum with in the concrete walled city life.

Here we substituted the enjoyment through indoor games or Computer games, Chat, Internet surfing, TV serials, Fast food magic’s, artificial flowers, balloons, telephone calls and Email greetings. Still Onam mood is live today with the loving memories. Generations inherited the past for us and we enjoy the privilege to transfer the message of that Golden Era of ‘Maveli Nadu Vanidum Kaalam’ to the next generation of our time.

Let us hope this Onam also brings joy to our lives with sharing the compassion of equality among all walks of life and spread the message across the boundaries, across the continents.
